Breastall Performance Studio was located in the same gallery space as the installation. A white wall, an entrance curtain, and roller blinds for the windows made it a private space during the casting sessions. Apart form casting sessions, visitors could enter the studio space and see traces from the casting prosess.

Breastfall casting sessions
Welcome to a Breastfall casting session! The work grows and evolves throughout the exhibition timeline. The casting of your breasts/chest will be added to the growing waterfall. All genders, shapes and sizes are welcome. Making of the mold takes approximately 1,5h and it happens at Kuva/Tila. There is a private area where this happens. After the casting session your breasts will be added with the others in one or two days. The casted sculptures remain anonymous. We will negotiate about the casting method when you arrive. You can also wish for what colour you would like your sculpture to be in.
Your upper body will be nude while doing the cast and the process involves touching. The casting might be a bit messy, so do not wear your best trousers. You need to be 18 years old to attend, but there is no upper age limit. If you have any questions about the process, you can email natalie.eliassen@uniarts.fi
